The TCU Advantage
TCU provides a place where you can form your own ideas and discover your own secrets for success. We call it the TCU Advantage, an uncommon balance in higher education today. TCU offers -
  • The strengths and choices of a major university, with the humanity of a smaller college.
  • A friendly, caring community marked by professors engaged in research who remain committed to teaching small, engaging classes.
  • Classes that encourage students to examine what they believe in and stand for.

A liberal arts-

  • centered institution that is global in the broadest sense;
  • from coursework to study abroad;
  • to the everyday way we think about the planet we share.

Fast Facts

  • 6,400 undergraduates
  • 1,500 graduate students

  • 82 undergraduate majors
  • 74 countries represented by our students
  • 40 religions represented on campus

TCU is private, but surprisingly affordable. Don't rule out a private education before you know your actual cost. Did you know that many TCU students who qualify for need-based financial aid can attend TCU for about half the actual tuition price? All students should apply for financial aid. TCU also participates in the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate programs, which encourage low-income and minority undergraduates to consider careers in college teaching as well as prepare for doctoral study. Students who participate in this program are provided with research opportunities and faculty mentors. Scholarships are also available for students who earned exceptional high school credentials.
