Opportunities for Giving
The College of Education is on an upward trajectory. Education graduates become teachers, administrators and counselors who enhance students’ personal and professional capabilities. They are in high demand by school districts throughout Texas and the region, and are noted for being effective and caring professionals.
The J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation Education Complex was dedicated in September 2007. With the completely restored Bailey Building and the new Betsy and Steve Palko Hall, the complex has tripled the college’s space. Students can simulate actual teaching scenarios within the classrooms and laboratories. The 10 new classrooms and 150-seat lecture hall are equipped with the latest technology and tools.
Preparing for Future Challenges and Possibilities With state-of-the-art facilities in place, the College of Education has the opportunity to prepare our graduates for the future. Your support will help assure that the College of Education continues to develop effective, ethical educators with a passion for learning.
